Green Hulk Smoothie

When I first started making smoothies for my kids that had veggies in them my girls were really receptive but my son wasn't so eagar to try, so we decided to call this one the Green Hulk because he like's the "Hulk" and believes he will be powerful and strong when he drinks this one!  It may sound like a interesting combination of ingredients but they work really well together.  I broke this down into a single serving, I triple the ingredients when making or my 3 kids:)

  • 1 Cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 Banana
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1 pitted Date
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 2 Scoops Hemp Vanilla Protein Powder or Hemp Seeds
  • 1 Tsp of Cinnamon

Place all ingredients into your blender and process on high for about a minute.  If you like your smoothies colder chop and freeze your bananas ahead of time.

***Juicy Tip - Dates are very high in fiber which is great for healthy bowl function.  They are also loaded with vitamins and minerals.  Avocados are nutrient dense and provide heart healthy fats which will help to keep you satisfied.  They also give this smoothie a wonderful creamy texture.  Cinnamon has many health benefits and it is also an natural anti-inflammatory.  So this smoothie is not only delicious but it is super nutritious.  Enjoy!  Live Juicy!

Rockin Raspberry

Raspberry is one of my favourites to use in smoothies!  I love the flavour... with this one I like to add a few drops of Lime Essential Oil (or fresh lime) but the two flavours paired together are dynamite!

  • 1 Cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 Cup Frozen Raspberries
  • 2 Cups of Spinach
  • 2 Scoops of Hemp protein powder (I like the Pomegranate Berry Flavour) but you can use any protein powder of your choice.
  • 2-3 drops Lime Essential Oil (or 1 fresh squeezed lime)

Simply put all ingredients into your blender and process until smooth.

Serves 1 :)

***Juicy Tip - Spinach is loaded with fiber, high in protein, and packed full of vitamins and minerals.  This nutrient dense fiber loaded smoothie will give you a boost of energy and keep you fulled:)  Enjoy! Live Juicy!
