Glowing Goddess Juice

    

 

 

Since the holidays are approching, things always seem to get busier, more things come up and we sometimes forget to take good care of ourselves.  I was making this juice, (which was delicious BTW) and was reminded just how much better I feel when I "juice" on a regular basis.  So I made a BIG batch for the family to save some time tomorrow, pre-portioned and ready to go!

  • 1 head of romaine lettuce
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 whole celery (8-10stalks)
  • 2 apples
  • 2 limes
  • handful of spinach 

Wash, chop and run all ingredients through juicer.  Serve immediately, or store in glass air tight container for up to 2 days.

Makes 6-8  servings:)

***Juicy tip -  Just adding in a juice a day, especially during the holidays will keep you feeling great!  

Juicy's Pina Colada Smoothie

This is such a fun and delicious summer smoothie!  The flavours are dynamite.  Great for breakfast, afternoon snack, and for us mama's - we can always add a little rum for little fun night with your bestie's when you get a chance to unwind and enjoy those warm summer nights!

  • 2 cups of Coconut Milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 2 Banana's 
  • 2 cups of chopped Pineapple
  • 2 cups of ice
  • 1/2 cup of shredded Coconut

Place all ingredients into your blender.  Pulse until desired consistency.  Serve and enjoy!

Serves 4 - 6 :)

****Juicy Tip - If I have extra smoothie left over I pour into popsicle trays and freeze!  Nothing goes to waste and I have on hand a yummy treat for the kids on a hot day! 

Juicy's Beet Juice

I know! BEET JUICE RIGHT?!  Well this one is definitely thirst quenching and will get your toxins flowing right on out!  All while nourishing your body temple and making you feel fantastic!

  • 2 medium organic beets chopped (skins on)
  • 2 medium organic cucumbers
  • 10 celery sticks
  • 1 lemon peeled
  • 1 lime peeled
  • beet leaves (if you have them)

Run all ingredients through your juicer and drink immediately:)  If you don't have a juicer, you can always add about a cup of water and juice up in your blender.  Just use a strainer afterwards to separate the pulp from the juice:)

Makes 2 - 4 Servings

***Juicy Tip -  Although drinking immediately is the best, I know some of us are on tight schedules and simply don't have the time to juice everyday.  This can be stored up to 2 days in the refrigerator in a air tight jar.  Voila!
